Hi I’m Jake, an Art Director making cartoons and stuff in Los Angeles.

I have been working as an Art Director in 2D series animation since Autumn of 2019. Through the last four years I have had the privilege of collaborating with passionate and talented teams on three publicly aired projects and several unannounced development ventures.

My experience covers TV-YA and Adult Comedy in short form and 22minute formats from development through post-production. Each and every project presents unique challenges and new opportunities for innovation and problem solving. I am passionate about tackling those challenges head on and approaching every problem whether its an artistic choice, technical issue or pipeline puzzle with a positive, collaborative and relentless attitude. None of this can be without the talented creative and production teams that I am privileged to work with every day.

Outside of Animation I run a small press comic anthology, enjoy going to concerts, ink drawing, D&D, traveling, making pizza, the outdoors and practicing jiujitsu.

I am available for part time development work and consultation on 2D Series Animation. I will be available Spring 2024 for Art Director roles. If you have a project that you think I’d be a good fit for, please reach out through my contact form.
